P90X: Tony Horton's 90-Day Extreme Home Fitness Workout DVD Program P90X workout is a high intensity workout from Beachbody, the makers of Insanity and many other top workout programs. While not the best program for beginners, P90Xwill definitely produce results for just about anyone.

P90X consists of 12 high intensity workouts, designed around the concept of muscle confusion:

Chest and Back, Plyometrics, Shoulders and Arms, Yoga X, Legs and Back, Kenpo X, X Stretch, Core Synergistics, Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, Back and Biceps, Ab Ripper X  and Cardio X.

You also receive a DVD for a quick overview of the P90Xworkout fitness program. The program comes with a nutrition plan, specially designed to complement the workout, ie burn extra fat! There is a detailed fitness guide and a calendar to set your workout goals and track your progress.

P90Xis hosted by personal trainer Tony Horton.  The premise behind the P90X is a training technique called “muscle confusion,” which in theory amps up the fitness process by constantly introducing new moves and routines so you do not plateau on results. This variety also helps with keeping you interested in the workout, versus growing bored with monotonous repetition.
